À propos de Natalia

Les mots de Natalia.

Feeling overwhelmed, like you're not quite sure who you are or where you're headed? Navigating school, family, friendships, and your own sense of self all at once is a lot to carry. I'm here to offer a space where none of that has to be figured out alone, where we can slow down together and build a path that actually feels like yours.

I bring experience from the education field, so I understand the real pressures young people face, socially, academically, and everything in between. Many of the people I work with are learning to navigate family dynamics, their own identity, and their place in the world, figuring out what makes them happy, what kind of relationships they want, and who they want to become. Together, we create a space where you can begin to understand your inner world more clearly and find the words for what you want, what you need, and what matters most to you. As a queer and racialized clinician, I also understand what it means to navigate systems and structures that weren't always built with you in mind. My lens is culturally sensitive, and every part of your identity is welcome here.

What you can expect in our sessions: a space that is non-judgmental and culturally sensitive, where every part of who you are is welcome. We might use creative expression, games, or play to make sense of relationships and situations that feel complex or overwhelming. My goal is to give you the tools to move through everyday life in a way that feels both mindful and true to yourself.

I bring warmth, playfulness, and a deep belief that therapy is not one-size-fits-all, but a space that you and I can shape together, one that becomes a starting point for self-understanding and discovery.

Un peu de contexte.

What is it like working with you?

I'm warm and empathic, and I come to each session without expectations. I like to weave in creative expression and follow your lead, because therapy should feel like something we shape together to fit where you are that day, what you're feeling, and what you're working toward.

What do you like most about being a therapist?

Watching my clients lean into who they really are, and seeing that sense of fulfillment and joy emerge even in the middle of difficult and challenging moments. That growth never gets old. It's the reason I love this work.

How do you take care of your own mental health?

My favorite ways to take care of myself are painting, yoga, surrounding myself with people who are genuine and caring, and learning to advocate for my own needs. Movement, authentic connection, and creative expression all nourish my sense of self, and I've learned to take that seriously, because showing up fully for the people I work with starts with showing up for myself.

What drew you to this field?

As a teen, I struggled to find my own inner voice and make sense of the world around me. That experience never left me, and it shapes everything about how I work. My hope is to be the kind of therapist I wish I'd had when I was younger.

What's one thing you wish more people knew about therapy?

Therapy doesn't have to feel like a chore, or look like one person doing all the talking while the other takes notes. It's a weaving process, something we build together, and it can be fun, creative, and genuinely shaped by what you need it to be.
