About Stacey-Ann

In Stacey-Ann's own words.

I work most often with individuals who feel overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, and stuck, looking for a safe space to process what they are going through. Many are navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, anxiety, or difficult experiences, and they often arrive carrying a sense of disconnection, doubt, and emotional pain.

Being in session with me feels calm, warm, and accepting. I strive to create a space where clients feel emotionally safe, heard, and free from judgment. My approach is compassionate and collaborative, giving each client the room to move at whatever pace feels right for them, so they can explore what they are carrying and arrive at the clarity and insight that leads to meaningful steps forward.

I was drawn to this work by my passion for helping people heal, grow, and discover strength they did not realize they had. In my own life, I have felt the power of therapy firsthand, having a safe space to be vulnerable where I felt truly seen and heard. That experience brought about a resilience in me that I did not know I had, and it taught me that meaningful change begins in relationships where people feel genuinely understood.

My background working with neurodivergent and behavioural students has taught me how to remain calm, build trust, and look beyond behaviour, which has allowed me to create the kind of relationship where healing can happen. I also facilitate a women's connect group online, and that experience has shaped my approach to creating community and encouraging women to grow in resilience. My faith keeps me grounded and shapes my empathy and compassion, while my professional practice keeps me client centered and respectful of each person's own beliefs.

A little context.

What is it like working with you?

I believe authenticity invites authenticity. When I show up with genuineness, empathy, and presence, it creates a space where clients feel safe to do the same. I meet clients where they are rather than trying to fix them, and I walk alongside them as they gain insight, discover their strengths, and move toward meaningful change.

What do you like most about being a therapist?

I appreciate the opportunity to walk alongside individuals as they navigate difficult situations, and to witness their growth: the confidence they develop to tackle life's hardest challenges.

How do you take care of your own mental health?

My faith, time spent in prayer, and connection with supportive relationships all help me stay grounded. I also make space for journaling, writing, going for walks, and attending church.

What would you say to someone nervous about starting therapy?

Those feelings are completely natural and understandable. Reaching out for support can feel vulnerable, and you do not need to have the right words. This is a space where you can come as you are.

What drew you to this field?

I believe in the healing that happens when people have a safe, supportive, and compassionate relationship where they can be fully themselves.
